As an agent in the 30A local market, I study the market closely and track the homes that sold and the homes that, unfortunately, did not sell. I realize there are many reasons homes don't sell, and one of those may have been that people simply decided not to move. But if you are one of those that do want to move and are stuck in a situation, here is some information that may be useful:

Last year homes on 30A  sold for an average of 96% of asking price. Many of my clients are surprised to learn homes are selling for asking price and often times even more than asking price. Why might now be the time to sell?

According to the National Association of Realtors as of May 2018, home prices have risen 5.2% compared to the same time last year. Additionally, as of May 2018, there was a 4.1 month supply of homes available for sale; this is below the 6 month supply that many real estate professionals consider normal. As a real estate professional, I completely understand the stress of putting your home on the market. I pride myself on minimizing that stress by taking a very honest and comprehensive look at your situation and goals. If you are still considering moving I would like to offer you a no-obligation move analysis that examines your overall goals. I will then give you an honest opinion as to whether or not your goals are feasible.
