Biking on 30A is a great way to exercise, get around and have fun. 30A is a little over 18 miles long and there are mile markers along the bike path. Here are there approximate locations.

17) Alys

16) Between Seacrest Dr and Tranquil Way

15)Watersound Bridges

14) Deer Lake State Park

13)West side of Watersound

12) Y in 30A before Clay

11) Bramble Grove Beach Access

10) Seaside

9) West side of Watercolor

8) Grayton near the camping entrance

7) Grayton east of uptown

6) Sanctuary at Redfish

5) Near the Retreat entrance

4) Local Catch

3) Gulf Place

2) Around Stinky's

1) a mile in from the Destin side

So when you are here and wonder if you can bike from one place to another just go by the milage. Its easy enough to pull up on your phone also. So can you bike from Rosemary to Seacrest? Figure about 5 miles each way. If you go 10 miles per hour, 5 miles will take 30min. Also Keep in mind the wind. 30A is pretty flat but having the wind working with or against is like going up or down a hill. So if you have the wind at your back and you do a ride in 30 min. The return trip might take 45minutes. If it is going to be a warm summer night and you aren't in a hurry to get back before dark think about taking a light. You will need it.  Also if you are bringing a bike or riding a bike that has been sitting outside at a beach house for a while. you may want to lube up the chain and make sure its tight enough to not fall off. I see people with their chain off and trying to get it back on daily. If you are on a road bike and want to actually put in some miles. you need to bike 30A as the un is coming up. Don't wait until all the people who have been drinking on the beach all day are getting in their car and joining you on the road. Front beach in Panama City has a bike lane and is a nice ride. Also you can go north if you want to put in the big miles.Image title
