Our local area is truly unique. In a short drive (or even walk!) you can visit the emerald waters of the Gulf of Mexico, Native Coastal dune lakes, or ( local favorite) our Choctawhatchee Bay. Each responsible, in their own way, for making this location special and so beautiful.

My husband and I live on the north side of Santa Rosa Beach and LOVE taking our boat into the Bay. We fish for Redfish, speckled trout and have fun fighting the ol' catfish, Me and the kids do at least : )  Kyle enjoys gigging flounders, making for a delicious dinner or throwing the net on a large group of mullet, or as his cajun grandfather would say "Fried mullet? thats Destin Bacon!"

The Choctawhatchee River flows into the bay, as do several smaller rivers and streams keeping the bay full of life and fresh adventure! The East Pass gives direct access to the fresh waters of the Gulf of Mexico.

Many people may think of this area as just a beach town, and Thank the Lord our beaches are world class! But we are also SO blessed to also have the #BayLife too!
